The multi-dimensional nucleon structure at the LHC and the EIC

Measurements at the LHC and the EIC probe the multi-dimensional structure of the nucleon in a complementary manner. In the present seminar, the three-dimensional nucleon structure, in momentum and in position space, will be introduced, and selected measurement results providing access to the different aspects of the nucleon structure will be discussed. In particular, emphasis will be placed on the specificities of the LHC and the EIC that allow each facility to provide unique and complementary information.
