DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Krzysztof Piotrzkowski\n\nIn everyday research\, it
is tacitly assumed that scattering cross sections have fixed values for a
given particle species\, center-of-mass energy\, and particle polarization
. However\, this assumption has been called into question after several ob
servations of apparent suppression of high-energy bremsstrahlung - the ori
gin of which will be explained in this talk\, also in relation of this elu
sive effect to other quantum phenomena occurring over macroscopic distance
 s. Bremsstrahlung\, or small-angle radiative Bhabha scattering\, plays a m
ajor role in experiments at the present and future colliders\, as SuperKEK
 B\, Electron-Ion Collider [1]\, or FCC-ee [2]\, respectively. That will be
overviewed and be followed by discussion of a novel proposal to profoundl
y study these long range effects. Finally\, also possible astrophysical co
 nsquences will be shortly considered. [1] Phys. Rev. D 103\, L051901 (2021
