DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Marc Dupuis (CEA\, DAM\, DIF)\n\n\n\n\n\nPre-equilib
rium processes are important in nuclear reactions at intermediate energies
. \nThis seminar presents pre-equilibrium reactions in the broader contex
t of nuclear reaction mechanisms for nucleon- and light-ion–induced reac
tions.\nThe main physical picture and the key modelling approaches are bri
efly reviewed. The focus is on the core ideas behind the different pre-equ
ilibrium models used today.\nTheir effects on experimental observables are
discussed\, including excitation functions\, energy spectra\, and angular
distributions of emitted particles. Indirect effects on observables linke
d to gamma emission and fission are also addressed.\nFinally\, a few recen
 t studies on neutron-induced reactions are presented.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nhttps
