DESCRIPTION:\nIn the framework of the series of the european workshops on 
 photocathodes for particle accelerator applications (previousy EWPAA)\, th
 e next event will be held in France\, near Paris\, following the 5th editi
 on hosted at HZDR in Dresden in 2024.\nOrganized by CNRS/IN2P3 via LPSC an
 d IJCLab\, the Photocathodes for Accelerator Science in Europe workshop (P
 hASE26) will be hosted by Irène Joliot Curie Laboratory (IJCLab) in Orsay
 \, September 21-23\, 2026. This meeting brings together experts in the fie
 ld of photocathode electron sources dedicated to particle accelerators aim
 ing to share knowledge and latest progress in this field\, critical of fut
 ure accelerators.\nThe event will propose about 40 oral presentations\, or
 ganized in 8 sessions\, as well as a poster session (format A0\, portrait)
  and visits of IJCLab’s infrastructures.\nThe sessions will cover:\n\nov
 erview of photocathode research\naccelerator applications of photocathodes
 \nphotocathode related studies and novel concepts\nmetallic photocathodes\
 nsemiconductor photocathodes\npolarized photocathodes\ntheory of photocath
 odes\ncharacterization techniques.\n\n \nA social event is planned with a
  diner cruise on the Seine river\, allowing sight seeing of beautiful Pari
 s monuments (Notre Dame\, Eiffel tower\, Louvre).\nProceedings will be pub
 lished (no peer-review) based on one-page summary provided by each speaker
