 gtaine d'années\, on peut étudier la manière dont desindividus interagi
 ssent dans un milieu clos (comme au travail) en leséquipant de capteurs q
 ui enregistrent qui interagit avec qui etpendant combien de temps. A parti
 r de données publiques\, je compareraides résultats obtenus dans des mil
 ieux trèsdifférents (un hôpital\, une conférence scientifique\, un vil
 lageafricain).  Je me concentrerai sur la durée des interactions qui ré
 vèle uninvariant surprenant. Je présenterai un modèle (encore plus surp
 renant) quile décrit parfaitement et qui s'appuie sur l'effet "le riche d
 evient plusriche". Enfin\, je comparerai ces résultats a ceux obtenus sur
  unepopulation de babouins pour révéler ce qui fait de nous des humains.
 \nCe séminaire sera donne en français (avec des diapositives en anglais)
 et est accessible a tout public avec quelques bases scientifiques. \n****
 *******************\nCan Human Relationships Be Modeled?\nFor about twenty
  years\, it has been possible to study how individuals interact within clo
 sed environments (such as workplaces) by equipping them with sensors that 
 record who interacts with whom\, and for how long.\nUsing publicly availab
 le data\, this presentation will compare results obtained in very differen
 t settings: a hospital\, a scientific conference\, and even an African vil
 lage.\nParticular attention will be paid to the duration of interactions\,
  which reveals a surprising invariant. An even more surprising model capab
 le of accurately describing this behaviour will be presented\; it is based
  on the so-called “the rich get richer” effect.\nFinally\, these resul
 ts will be compared with those obtained from a population of baboons in or
 der to explore what makes human interactions unique.\nThis seminar will be
  given in French (with slides in English) and will be accessible to a broa
