DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dam Thanh Son (University of Chicago)\n\nMany nuclea
r processes of interest involve production of several neutrons with small
relative energy. To treat the problem of final-state interactions between
the neutrons\, we develop the formalism of "nonrelativistic conformal coll
ider physics\," inspired by a similar formalism in relativistic field theo
ry. This formalism reduces the computation of the momentum distribution an
d correlation between the final particles to that of correlation functions
involving the so-called "detector operators." The general formalism is ap
plied to point production of three unitary fermions\, where we find the mo
mentum and angular distribution of final particles\, and point production
of a large number of such fermions. We will discuss the "oscillator frame"
which maps the asymptotic out-state to a quantum wave function. This talk
is based on arXiv:2608.18202 with Cyuan-Han Chang\, Subham Dutta Chowdhur
 y\, and Ian Moult.\n\nhttps://indico.ijclab.in2p3.fr/event/14263/
