DESCRIPTION:Recent theoretical and methodological developments are broaden
 ing the scope of lattice QCD in flavour physics. Alongside increasingly pr
 ecise determinations of traditional observables\, new approaches are makin
 g it possible to address classes of processes that were previously inacces
 sible from first-principles lattice QCD calculations. In this talk I will 
 review some of these developments\, focusing on methods based on spectral-
