Description

The IJCLab CTAO Weekly Meeting brings together team members to share scientific and technical updates related to CTAO activities.

Each meeting includes a brief discussion of interesting new papers, a round table covering recent progress, news, and any issues requiring input from the group, followed by a rotating presentation. The presentation may focus on ongoing work, a recent publication, or a conference report.

Participants are asked to add their updates to the relevant section of the Indico page before the meeting. The meeting is limited to one hour.

        • I serve as the convener of the CTAO AGN Population Task Force.
        • The project studies the AGN population accessible to CTAO, extrapolating the Fermi-LAT AGN population into the VHE regime and accounting for source variability and CTAO detectability.
        • My main contribution is the gamma-ray luminosity function reconstruction, using simulated CTAO populations to determine how well CTAO can constrain the luminosity and redshift evolution of the underlying blazar population.
        • A full project and progress update will be presented next week.
