Europe/Zurich
SixSq Offices, Geneva, Switzerland

SixSq Offices, Geneva, Switzerland

c/o Jawer, 7th floor, Bldg. D, Route de Pré-Bois 20, 1215 Geneva, Switzerland
Marc-Elian Bégin (SixSq)
Description
The meeting would be in Geneva. I suggest to focus on the following topics, over a day and a half:
  • Release 1.0
    • services (Market Place, reference infrastructures - GRNet, LAL, Appliance Repositories, Claudia)
    • appliances (make sure they are secure and functional)
  • Online documentation
    • check accuracy and completeness
  • Tutorials
    • test that they work without ambiguity
    • test that they cover all/most important features of v1.0

I propose a workshop format, where we split into different teams, working on specific topics, with regular checkpoints. The result should be a go for the release! In other words, this should be an intensive, productive, yet fun meeting.

You can find where our offices are on Google Maps here (look for the pin 'A' close to the airport)

The simplest way to come to our office is walking from the airport (or airport train station).  Our offices are in the ICC/Movenpick large peach/glass building next to the airport.  At the airport, leave from the arrival level, and follow the signs for the parking P51. Walk along that road passing P51.  You should then see the ICC.  Find the lift for building D.  Ring at Jawer SA, from which we sublet.  Alternatively, you can ou can take the 23, 28, 57 or Y buses.  You can buy the ticket in the bus.

If you've got any problem give me a call: +41 77 44 68 119.

From downtown, take the tram 14, 16 or 18 and get off at Blandonnet.  Then having the Jura mountains on your left, you should see the ICC in the distance in fron of you.  Walk to it or jump on the bus for two stops.  Following the instructions above to find our offices.
