Description
Searching for exotic particles (XYZ particles) with quark content
different from conventional baryons and mesons are of high interest
for several decades. Using the data sample collected with the BESIII detector located in Beijing, China, we are able to study the XYZ particles in an improve precision. In 2013, the BESIII experiment discovered a charged charmoniumlike states $Z_{c}(3900)$, which was considered as the first four-quark particle with solid evidence. In this seminar, I’ll introduce the XYZ particles and review the discovery of $Z_c(3900)$, together with most recent XYZ results from the BESIII experiment, and our future plan toward the study of XYZ physics.
