Pair production processes of electroweak gauge bosons (WW, ZZ, Wy, etc.) represent a very interesting class of particle reactions at the LHC. They provide, for instance, an ideal testground for the non-Abelian self-interactions of the electroweak gauge bosons among one another, but also deliver background to many new-physics searches and precision studies of the Higgs boson. The talk summarizes the status of and recent progress in precision calculations for this process class, putting particular emphasis on the issue of electroweak corrections, which become very large in the TeV range.
