Description

CERN's neutron time-of-flight facility (n_TOF) experimental area 2 (EAR-2), which has been constructed and is operational since 2014, is designed and built as a complementary to experimental area 1 (EAR-1). The parallel plate avalanche counter (PPAC) measurement was performed at EAR-2 on July of 2015. And some basic characteristics of this new beam line, such as beam profile, neutron flux, are obtained.
