High Energy Colliders have proven to be powerful probes to uncover new laws of nature. Exploring the high energy frontier with the next generation of colliders should reveal the Higgs field responsible for mass, new symmetries like supersymmetry or extra dimensions of space, provide an understanding of whether all the forces become one, as well as yield possible explanations of the dark matter of the universe and what happened to the antimatter created at the birth of the universe. As we eagerly anticipate the dawn of this exciting new era at the high energy frontier with the Large Hadron Collider, we are also rapidly developing the technologies and design for the International Linear Collider (ILC), the complementary probe using electron-positron collisions. I will present the science motivation, technologies, plans and progress toward the ILC in this presentation.
