We consider the production of the Standard Model Higgs boson via the gluon fusion mechanism at hadron colliders. We present an overview on the calculation of QCD radiative corrections to the total cross section and the transverse-momentum distribution of the Higgs boson. Quantitative predictions at the Tevatron and at the LHC are illustrated.
