Already 7 years of strong collaboration between Paris Saclay University and An-Najah National University in Nablus- Palestine seeded by the Winter School in High Energy Physics in Palestine (WISHEPP) that has been organized annually since 2016 at the campus of An-Najah National University in the format of series of lectures, short seminars, specialized and hands-on sessions presented by several professors from Paris Saclay and other European institutions.
Each edition was followed by the attribution of scholarships for motivated students to join Paris Saclay and the IJCLab. Initial focusing was given to physics, but was then extended to other disciplines: chemistry, mathematics, engineering and medical physics.
This well-prepared floor paved the way for the acquisition of a European funded project (IMC) twicely of 500 k euros through which 100 mobility already took place and exceeded student mobility to a comprehensive and consolidated project between both institutions. Third IMC project is foreseen as of 2023. As well, An-Najah National University was able to join ATLAS Collaboration at CERN and now is entering PERLE, due to the close collaboration with IJCLab.
