Description

Light pseudo-Goldstone bosons (pNGBs) can arise in various well motivated theories, possibly preluding a rich new physics sector in the UV. Flavour searches can constrain the pNGB interactions and therefore shed light on more fundamental symmetries that might otherwise be beyond our reach in collider searches.

The aim of my talk is two-fold. First, assuming a data-driven approach, I will discuss the pNGB features that could make them interesting candidates to explain the neutral B-anomalies, if produced on-shell in B→Kll decays. Second, assuming a model-driven approach, I will motivate non-minimal B decays into multi-leptons at LHCb beyond the signal regions explored so far. The composite Higgs framework is used as benchmark model to motivate these signatures.
