When the interaction between atoms in gas slowly changes over time,
elastic collisions become weakly inelastic. There are thus two
competitive mechanisms of energy transfer from the magnetic field to
gas, via the quasiparticle energy (mean-field) and via the collisions.
How do they compare in the ultracold Fermi gas?
