Description
IPAC26, the International Particle Accelerator Conference in 2026, will take place in Deauville, France, marking the second opportunity for France to host after the successful remote conference held in 2020. GANIL will once again serve as the host laboratory for this prestigious event. As part of the initial organization process, we are in the early stages of establishing a Local Organizing Committee (LOC) that will represent a diverse range of laboratories and research groups across France.
By the end of 2023, our goal is to have the LOC fully established and to allocate various responsibilities among the participating laboratories. This will ensure efficient coordination and smooth execution of the conference.
Additionally, I will provide a brief overview of the different committees involved in organizing an IPAC, highlighting their roles and functions.
