Belle II collects data from e+e- collisions at an energy close to the mass of the Upsilon(4S) resonance. Large samples of B mesons, charm hadrons and tau leptons are produced to study quark and lepton flavour observables. In addition, probes of the light dark sector are possible with these data. Run 1 concluded in summer 2022 having recorded a sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 362 fb-1. In this talk I present results derived from this sample. These results relate to searches for Z’ bosons, properties of the tau lepton, CP violation, tests of lepton-flavour universality and the electroweak penguin decay B->Knunu. The talk will conclude with the plans for Run 2 and beyond.
