We have blocked 25 rooms at the DESY hostel from January, 26th until January, 29th 2025 at the price of EUR 32,00/ single room per night and EUR 37,00/ double room per night.
If you would like to book a room from the contingent, please make your reservation no later than 4 weeks before the event by using our hostel reservation request https://welcome-services.desy.de/e17/req1/index_eng.html indicating the event name EuPRAXIA-PP plasma and components workshop.
We do accept card payment for hostel stays which should be settled in the hostel office in building 06, room 120 during office hours Monday - Friday 9 am - 1 pm.
If you wish to choose a hotel for the duration of your stay, the closest hotel to the DESY campus is hotel Mercure Hotel Hamburg Volkspark It is located about a 5 min walk from the rear entrance (Luruper Chaussee). In order to benefit from our corporate rate EUR 108,70/ night incl. breakfast please ask for the DESY fee. Note though that after 7pm the rear entrance is closed and you will need to take a longer walk using the main gate.
