Description

Charged particle minibeam radiotherapy is a novel treatment modality that combines charged particle beams (from protons to very heavy ions) with spatial dose modulation. This modality could overcome the limitations of conventional radiotherapy, but its biological basis is not yet fully understood. In this talk, we will see how synchrotron infrared light can help uncover these underlying biological mechanisms.
