Many-body dynamics, randomness and fluctuations
16-18 September 2026

FRAME2026 is a workshop devoted to recent developments in many-body dynamics, randomness, and fluctuations. The meeting will bring together researchers working on classical and quantum many-body systems, with a particular emphasis on non-equilibrium dynamics and the emergence of universal behavior from microscopic randomness.

The workshop will cover topics at the interface of statistical physics, quantum many-body theory, stochastic dynamics, hydrodynamics, transport, integrability, chaos, and disordered systems.

All confirmed participants will have the opportunity to present a poster; some contributed talks will be selected.

        After equilibration

        What goes on after equilibration? The origin of the question is the following: the interior of black holes are expected to equilibrate long after the system is globally equilibrated, a condition that is dominated by its surface. Duality suggests we look at the corresponding quantum system: the natural question is what happens then to a quantum system at those long, post-equilibration times.
        Recently, with Xianyu Cao we proposed that large deviation theory is a natural answer.
