3 weeks program :
· What are the characteristics of hybrid cyclones? Can we study them using already existing tools , or do we need to develop specific methodologies
· Which factors drive the interannual variability in cyclonic activity in different parts of the world? How predictable is their activity
· Which specific hazards do these storms bring? What do industries need in order to better protect populations?
Organizational philosophyof the programme
· Presentations
· 2 keynote lectures per week on Monday afternoon
· Talks by ECS every morning(1h)
· Posters displayed all week long
· Centered on collaboration
o Ample free time for discussion/collaboration
o Provision of a collection of datas etsthat participants can work together on («hackathon» style)
· Training sessions on a suite of essential tools
· 2 “industry days” for the energy& insurance sectors
