Description
The CTAO Open Science Data Challenge will be the first Science Data Challenge (SDC) organised by the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO) open to the whole science community. In this talk, I will present the preparatory work that has been done on the SDC, and the opportunities that the SDC will provide to the community for gaining familiarity with data analysis tools, as well as for getting a first understanding of the broad range of scientific topics that CTAO will explore.
