About the PREDIS project:
The PREDIS (pre-disposal management of radioactive waste) project targets the development and implementation of activities for pre-disposal treatment of radioactive waste streams other than nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste.
The WP4 of PREDIS is dedicated to innovations in metallic treatment and conditioning. The workshop (organized the 24th of November at IJCLab) will present the activities realized in the frame of this work package and especially in the three technical tasks:
Task 4.4: Development and optimization of decontamination processes
Task 4.5: Optimization of metallic waste characterization and procedures for waste minimization and recycling
Task 4.6: Encapsulation of reactive metals in magnesium phosphate cement-based matrices
