Text of the call for contributions (PhD and PostDoc)

Dear Colleagues,

The 2026 edition of the “Rencontres de Noirmoutier” conference will take place from May 31st to Juin 6th 2026 on the island of Noirmoutier (France).

The conference goal is to review results and new ideas on the following six topics: Neutrino Physics, Standard Model Particle physics, Cosmology, Gravitation, Dark Matter and Physics of Compacts Objects. In addition, a special day is devoted to discussing another science and explore synergy and or common tools. This edition will be focused on climate science with a round table about “Doing fundamental science with large infrastructure while dealing with climate”. Finally outreach events are organized on the days preceding/following the conference and during the conference.

While the senior speakers of the 6 sessions are by invitation only, a call for abstract submission by young researchers (PhD or <2 years postdoc) is organized. Selected talk duration will be 12mn. The
conference organization can deal up to 18 grants for the selected candidates which cover the conference fees (400 €) as well as the accommodation and meals. Only travel expenses will be at the
charge of the selected candidate.

The deadline for abstract submission is January 30th 2026.

The selection results will be sent by February 13th 2026 at the latest.
