Les Rencontres de Noirmoutier

Europe/Paris
Village Vacances des Quatre Vents 8 Rue des Eloux, 85740 L'Épine
Description

The "Rencontres de Noirmoutier 2026" conference will be held in the island of Noirmoutier (France)  from the 1rst to the 5th of June 2026

Village vacances des Quatre Vents

Two satellite events are attached to this conference :

  • A public conference on May 31tst by Roland Lehoucq (in french)  «  Enquête sur Interstellar »
  • A day,  "Histoires de temps", on saturday june 6th, dedicated to various approaches of time through physics, neuroscience, psychology, philosophy and a round table about links between these different views and way each of us live time. On line transcription in french and english. Details and registration here.

Outreach events :

  •  ILE project (Infini à l'ECOLE, ile.in2p3.fr) in some elementary schools on May 28th and 29th
  • A Village of Science at Intermarché supermaket of Noirmoutier on May 30th
  • Lectures in surrounding High schools by PhDs or Postdocs
