Description

The Invisibles22 School will take place at IJCLab, in Orsay (southern Paris suburb),  from 13 June to 17 June, 2022, and will be followed by the Invisibles22 Workshop

The Invisibles22 School is jointly organized by the Horizon 2020 Marie Curie ITN network HIDDeN, which continues the series of “Invisibles” events started in 2012 (Horizon 2020 Marie Curie ITN network Invisibles, Horizon 2020 Marie Curie ITN network Elusives and the Horizon 2020 RISE network InvisiblesPlus).   

Lecture topics include:

  • Neutrino Probes of New Physics - Joachim Kopp

  • Primordial Black Holes and Dark Matter - Joseph Silk

  • Monte-Carlo Tools for LHC - Eleni Vryonidou

  • Theory and Phenomenology of the SMEFT - Adam Falkowski

  • Physics of Axions - Giovanni Villadoro

  • Flavor Physics - Svjetlana Fajfer

Several tutorial sessions,  as well as topical seminars will be scheduled.

Outreach event: Yann Mambrini will give a public lecture at the prestigious Institut de Mathématiques of Paris-Saclay University, Fondation Jacques Hadamard, on Thursday 16/06.

The Registration Fee of 360 euros includes accommodation for the duration of the School (in the Orsay campus), lunches and coffee breaks, as well as a social dinner. 

IMPORTANT

  • Registration deadline : April 10th, 2022.
  • Since the number of participants is limited, applications from PhD students will be favored. 

  • Selected students will be requested to pay the participation fee. Corresponding information will be available by mid-April 2022.

The Invisibles22School is organized in the context of the Horizon 2020 funded project HIDDeN. HIDDeN is a European ITN project (H2020-MSCA-ITN-2019//860881-HIDDeN) focused on revealing the (a)symmetries we have yet to discover, hence hidden (a)symmetries, and the particles on which they act, in particular the invisible sector, made of neutrinos, dark matter and other elusive particles. It has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 860881-HIDDeN”.
